If you asked him 4 seconds before these videos were taken if he was tired or sleepy, he’d say “no”.

(Mike shouldn’t have changed Matthew’s seat from a 5pt harness to a booster. That will be corrected.)

The boys LOVE Legos. LOVE. There are few things that they play with more and it is rare to see Matthew without some sort of creation in his hands.
After I got home from my work trip, I decided to take Friday off from work. After Matthew got done with school and a lunch date with Grammy and Papaw, we went to Toys R Us to pick out a Lego set to build that afternoon.
It was fun having the one-on-one time with my baby guy and it was nice to work on the Lego set with him as he learns to read the instructions.
These pictures are cell pictures that I took and texted to Mike at work to update him on our progress. 🙂
While I was out of town for work, the Kindergarten and 1st grade classes at Ian’s school had a concert. Ian still had a nice sized cheering section in the second row without me there. I think he did a really great job!

They also got a couple of pictures of Ian with his Student of the Month photo in the classroom hallway. So proud of my big boy. 🙂
Matthew said he was being cool for this pic, apparently. LOL

He requires quite a bit of arm twisting but he’s shown so much improvement since the beginning of the school year. I can’t wait to see what Kindergarten brings for him next year.

(By the way, he called the T-Rex on his sheet a “Team Rex”. LOL)
