About two weeks ago, I ordered personalized shirts online. For some random reason, I decided I wanted the boys to wear shirts with their nanmes when we went to see Santa. We received the shirts in the mail on Saturday and I was sooo excited! They’re so cute!

We decided Sunday was going to be the big day. The day Ian and Matthew got to sit on Santa’s lap!

We got the boys ready and they looked so cute in their shirts!

We got to the mall and quickly got in line. Santa hadn’t arrived yet so we had to wait a little bit. After not too long, we saw Santa coming! Ian and Matthew were SOOOO excited. Both were jumping up and down and waving at Santa. As Santa approached the boys, he greeted them by saying “Merry Christmas, Matthew” and “Merry Christmas, Ian”! Ian was beyond excited that Santa knew his name. He must have forgotten about his shirt by that point. LOL

I stood in line with the boys and they were sooo good about waiting patiently. No one got impatient, no one got pushy.

When it was our turn, the boys went right up to Santa. Matthew was a little shy but not afraid. Ian got up on Santa’s lap and I put Matthew on the other leg. We quickly got a picture and then the boys told Santa what they’d like for Christmas. Ian told Santa that he’d like a Charlie Brown DVD and when I told Santa that Matthew likes trains, Santa asked him if he wanted a Thomas. Matthew answered “yes!” 🙂

The boys got suckers and temporary tatoos and I got this picture!

I know Santa’s eyes are closed but it was the best shot of the boys. Matthew was a little unsure of the whole situation and wouldn’t really smile. LOL

(True story: The girl manning the camera wanted to get Matthew to look at her and asked me what his name was. Seriously. LOL)
