We went to Christmas in Clarence last night. They’re running a Christmas festival with a light display and then a building full of holiday festivities.

The drive-thru light display was a little disappointing. It cost us $15 and definitely was NOT worth that much in terms of the amount of enjoyment we got out of it.

After the ride through the lights, we went into the Jingle House to see what was going on inside. Again, it was pretty lame but we decided to explore a bit. We drove out to Clarence afterall…might as well make the best of it.

Inside, Ian was excited to see Christmas trees.

We saw Santa and Mrs. Claus…Ian wasn’t too sure about them despite the fact that we’ve been talking about Santa a lot lately. I anticipate more crying this year when we take him to see Santa. πŸ™‚

Ian jumped in a bounce house or two:

And rode on a motorcycle:

Daddy and Matthew watched from afar:

Then, me and the boys went on a ride on a CHOO CHOO TRAIN! Matthew didn’t seem to recognize the importance of his FIRST ride but he sure did hang on for dear life!

Afterward, we went to Grammy and Papaw Jones’s house to visit a tiny bit before bedtime.

As you can see, Matthew was content to just hang out on the floor:

It was a fun night out but not the best entertainment….we’re throwing around the idea of going to see the Festival of Lights going on in Niagara Falls, Canada. We’re just not sure its worth the hassle of dealing with customs and bridge delays….we’ll see!
