So, after my OB appointment, I got a call from the doctors office. Somehow my cellphone managed to NOT ring and I missed the call. They called me back Wednesday morning….
Apparently my doctor was discussing the state of my ginormous baby with the doctor I am scheduled to see at my next appointment. They decided, due to the size estimate, to have me retake the 1 hour glucose tolerance test. In addition, we had to slightly change my next appointment time because they want me to have another ultrasound.
I went in for my 1 hour glucose test the next day and passed with flying colors so apparently there is no concern about gestational diabetes.
We’ll have to see what happens at my 36w OB appointment…..hopefully the baby isn’t too much bigger!
