MATTHEW
Sitting at his seat at the table

He’s holding a plastic frog thing that his GIRLFRIEND made for him! LOL

Matthew’s drawing of his bedroom. I thought he did a great job!

Torn bits of construction paper to spell his name:

IAN
Welcoming us to his classroom:

Guess who wrote this? (Be sure to read the whole thing/both pics LOL)

So far school is going GREAT. Both boys are doing wonderful.
We went to the first annual Buffalo Maritime Festival at Canalside in September. It was a cool, dreary day but we still had a good time taking a tour of a tall ship.

Pay no attention to the fact that Matthew is getting choked by Ian. LOL

We took a tour of the Peacemaker

The captain’s quarters:

A million hours later and with fingers bloodied and bruised, I finally finished sewing Ian’s patches on his Cub Scout uniform.

He better not plan on growing because he’s wearing that bad boy until he graduates from high school. 😉
I usually get the urge to bake in the fall. Something about the cooler temperatures turns me into Betty Crocker for about 15 minutes.
When the urge struck in September, I decided to make homemade cinnamon rolls from a recipe I found online. Like, from-scratch-waiting-for-dough-to-rise homemade cinnamon rolls.

(They looked really good, didn’t they?)
The verdict? Not worth all the work. They were really good but by the time we ate them, it was like 2 hours after I started working on them. Ain’t nobody got time for a two hour breakfast. LOL
Book: Don’t Let the Pigeon Drive the Bus

We had a school bus theme to our September meeting!
