We were out to dinner a few weeks ago and someone stopped by and asked us if we wanted free caricatures drawn of the boys while we waited for our food. It turned out to be a lot of fun. The boys thought the pictures were absolutely hysterical. LOL
Ian and Matthew’s school recently had a skating party at a local skating rink. Neither boy has ever gone rollerskating before so it was a learning experience for all of us. LOL
The skating wasn’t too bad on its own but Matthew nagged for one of the “walker” things and then proceeded to skate worse and get frustrated (because he was trying to go too fast and was falling more). Both boys caught sight of the bounce house beside the rink and quickly were “done” with skating.
Please excuse the bad photo/video situation going on. It was dark and I was on skates when taking them all. LOL

We might try this again down the road. If we do, I want to see if I can find the roller skates I used growing up. I’m not sure if my parents still have them. The skates I got from the rink were tough for me to skate in (stiff rollerblade type of boot that made it hard to move my foot/ankle vs the leather boots that Mike and the boys had).
The fall session of soccer wrapped up a few weeks ago with a medal ceremony on the field after the last practice. Yes, it was as cold and blustery that day as it appears in the pictures. LOL

The winter session starts in a few weeks. I’m really hoping that session is indoors. 😉
I am a morning person and poop out pretty early every night. Mike is a bit of a night owl so he tends to play on his iPad in the dark for a few hours after I go to sleep.
