Don’t you think he’s going to be a GREAT big brother? 😉

Ian’s brother or sister (we aren’t finding out) is due July 1st, 2008.

Here is our first glimpse at the new baby!

I know, I know. I’ve been slacking again. Work and life are crazy right now…things are busy busy busy.

I thought I’d share our 2007 Christmas cards. We had 2 cards because we couldn’t afford to get enough of the fancy (read: expensive) cards to cover our needs. Don’t ask how you got the card you ended up receiving, there was no method to my madness. 🙂

(BTW: the second (fancy, expensive) card had a shimmer to it that didn’t translate very well when it was scanned….)

After a full morning of playing and a yummy lunch with Grammy, Papaw and Momma, Ian couldn’t bear to stay awake one more minute.

I drove home and was shaking his leg, squeezing his foot and tickling his belly. He still fell asleep. I got him OUT of his carseat and carried him upstairs while he snored on my shoulder.

I put him on the bed. Unzipped his jacket. When downstairs for my camera. Took 10 pictures. Took his shoes off. Undid his belt buckle and unzipped his pants. It wasn’t until I TOOK HIS PANTS OFF did he stir. I changed his diaper and put him in the crib and back to sleep he went.

Isn’t he just too cute???

Yesterday after we got our tree, Ian was playing in the van:

And not very happy with me when I got him out:

Notice the bruise in the middle of his forehead (above, sleeping pictures)? Yeah, he has taken to hitting his head when having temper tantrums. It makes for really attractive bruises in the middle of his forehead.

Life has been a little crazy recently. Thanksgiving, work, home-life, in general everything seems insane. The clock is ticking down the minutes to Christmas and I’m so far from being ready, its starting to FREAK. ME. OUT! I have about 286 people left to buy for and about 3 ideas of what to get them. Can you say stressed OUT!?!

I tried, in vain, to get some shots of Ian to put on a quick holiday card to send to friends and family. Here’s how Ian cooperated:

The next few aren’t too bad but they’re pretty “flashy”, the background isn’t very holiday card friendly, and his little ear is folded down under his hat. lol

Please pay no attention to the fact that those pajamas may or may not be found wrapped under the tree on Christmas Eve. 😉

In the battle between Ian and Santa – Santa was the clear winner!

Clearly, Ian wasn’t a big fan. I honestly thought, at the time, that he just wanted to get down and explore. But when you look at the other pictures, you can tell he’s pretty freaked out. The body language (leaning as far away as humanly possible) is clear. Ian did NOT want to be near Santa. After this picture was taken, I put him down and he ran as fast as he could. Poor baby.

I have to say, I think its my parental right to torture the little guy a little bit. I mean, he didn’t sleep through the night for 15 months. Surely I’m entitled to a tear-filled picture with Santa, right?

Remember last year? Utter confusion.
