A terrible picture of Ian holding the one gift he asked for over and over and over (and has yet to watch):

After we got all the presents under the tree opened, we moved down to the BIG surprise in the playroom:

While the boys played, Mike and I worked on getting breakfast made.

Nothing wrong with cookies and candy to go with your breakfast casserole and bacon, right?

After nap time, Mike’s family came over to exchange gifts:

The air hockey table was a very popular gift!

It was a wonderful Christmas!

We went to see Santa one more time on Christmas Eve with Andrew and Kaitlyn then spent the rest of the day playing.

After naps, we headed over to mom and dad’s for dinner!

This year, all 3 boys sat at the kids table in the kitchen. LOL

After supper, everyone went to Christmas Eve service at church…well, except for Mike, Jonathan and the 4 little ones. Church was really nice this year. I’m looking forward to the day we can take all the kids with us. 🙂

After church, we took a quick family shot with the timer on my camera:

And then we got ready to do presents:

Nick was SUPER excited:

After a ton of presents were opened and toys were pried out of their packaging, we took the boys home. We watched one show on tv and got our snack ready for Santa and friends.

After that, the boys went to bed without complaint.

Once we were pretty sure they’d stay in bed, Mike and I got busy doing our job as Santa’s helpers.

We built the town/track on the train table:

It was surprisingly easier to put together than we planned. (Thank you, God! I wasn’t really looking forward to another train table crisis at 10:45PM on Christmas Eve! LOL)

The tree all ready to go:

Mike and I were so excited to see how the boys would react the next day but managed to fall asleep quickly!
