I love quiet weekends at home with the family. In the last few months, we’ve taken to playing up a Friday or Saturday evening at home by creating family movie night.
All we do is move the living room furniture around, blow up the air mattress and put in a movie for the boys to watch. To really get into the spirit of movie night, we turn out the lights and microwave some popcorn. It turns into a really fun evening in!
We probably do this every 2 or 3 weeks and the boys get such a kick out of it.
(For the record, Matthew isn’t quite to the point where he’ll hold still so by the middle to the end of the movie, he’s attempting to “bounce high” on the air mattress. LOL)
