I think they should call it the “Most Photographed Place on Earth.” 😉

Needless to say, I’m going to need some time to sort through all of these pictures.

Edited to add:  I had to come back and share this.  The same day I posted about how many pictures I took in Disney, the following article was posted on a Disney fan site.  Here is the first sentence of the article:  “Not only is it “The Happiest Place on Earth,” it’s also arguably one of the most photographedplaces in the history of the world.”

A train theme to start the year!

He immediately headed for the Play Doh:

Birthday board for both 3 year old classes:

Check out that class list….3 girls and 11 boys in his class this year.

image (Apparently the Tu/Th class is the exact opposite – mostly girls with just a few boys.  Strange, huh?)

Moms & dads leaving for the parents meeting.  Matthew was clearly all broken up about us leaving the room.  Please note that he’s the only child facing the bulletin board and ready for class to begin. LOL

The parents sneak back in for dismissal.  Matthew doesn’t realize we’re there yet….

Ready for his name to be called:

Distracted by the chaos at drop off:

image

Immediately heading off to play with the toys despite the colossal amount of separation anxiety his classmates were experiencing!

image

“What?  Oh yeah!  Bye, mom!”

image

He may have been Mr. Independent at drop off but he was darn excited to see us at pick up time!

image

I love this boy more than words could ever begin to express.

Checking out his class on the way out:

image

After that, Mike and I took him to Chili’s for lunch (his request).  He was super tired and barely ate but it was nice to have that one-on-one time with him!

So….that’s the belated 1st day of school pictures for Matthew.  Better late than never, right? 🙂
