BEFORE
Note the roof tiles curling up and looking all sorts of ghetto
AFTER
Much better, don’t you think? We had planned to get cranberry colored shutters and a similarly colored front door. I’m waffling a bit on that. Maybe we should do black shutters?
And, I came home at lunch today to see this tree branch casualty lying in front of our house:
Matthew kicked back on the bed…having some breakfast
Giving me the look, the “shouldn’t you be getting ready for work” look Daddy has perfected….
Ian not so amused about my inability to make Special Agent Oso appear on any tv, at any time. Matthew fascinated with the bottom of his bottle thus getting formula all over the bed….
That’s what you’re missing this morning Daddy! 🙂
Mike called the roofing guy yesterday to arrange to drop off the contract and deposit that we’ve been unsuccessfully trying to get to him since March 30th.
When Mike finally got a voicemail from him, it essentially said “Hi, don’t worry about dropping anything off because we’re coming to your house tomorrow to put the roof on.”
WHAT?!?!?
We weren’t so happy about the fact that this all got scheduled without our input but are glad its almost done. This has been years in the the making. Or, I should say, years of saving. 😉
The roofing guy said he should mostly be done today but might need a few hours tomorrow to finish it up.
Here’s what the house looked like almost exactly 4 years ago during our inspections…
Stayed tuned for pictures of a black roof!!!
