We’re currently demo-ing and remodeling our half bath. Here’s a before. A waaaay before. Like, a during the home inspection in May 2005 before. Apparenlty I don’t take many pictures of the smallest bathroom on Earth. 😉
For those of you who haven’t been in it, you can actually touch all four walls when you stand in the middle of the room. Tiny doesn’t cover just how small it is!
I’ll post after shots as soon as we’re done. 🙂 Hopefully we’ll be done before Matthew’s birthday party!
And on a related note:
I know I’ve promised a lot of “after” shots of the various projects we’re doing and I know I’m promising yet another one. I SWEAR, when we actually FINISH a project, I’ll post pictures of it. Right now, I’ve got a lot of unfinished projects that are in varying stages of almost-done. When they’re REALLY done, I’ll take some pictures. 🙂
Last night went well. I went to bed too late but the only overnight issues we had was Ian around 2:30am. Must have been a nightmare because he was pretty much incoherent and immediately went back to sleep. Yay for a well-rested family!
🙂
Matthew demanded to be removed from the crib…
(note the missing pants)
And angrily reminded me that he slept through the night as a favor to me…
…therefore, “get me out of the crib and feed me NOW!!!”…
Yay, for a liquid breakfast! 😉
(not sure what the leg thing is all about)
Ian woke up in a better mood and immediately set to work on earning some digi-medals along with Special Agent Oso.
Here he’s learning about the 2nd step of the 3 special steps:
What was life like before Special Agent Oso? 🙂
We miss you, Daddy!
This is the story of Wednesday night for Daddy who is living it up in Cooperstown, NY…chilling in his hotel room watching the Yankees on the YES network. 🙂
(my apologies to all innocent bystanders who have to witness my disgusting pink bathroom from hell)
Next, it was pee-pees on the potty:
(by the way, he was really ticked at me for taking his shirt off *before* he went potty! ha ha)
The boys seemed to have fun and were busy splashing each other.
Matthew seemed to bear the brunt of it:
(Bath time felt like a water-based wrestling match to me. Now I remember why you bath them every time. Good grief!!!)
Finally, it was time for jammies and one last cartoon before bed:
(Yes, they’re wearing matching pj’s. ha ha)
Ian must have been exhausted. At about 8:15pm, he grabbed 2 cars and waltzed right on up to his room to go to bed. 🙂
Momma is exhausted too…most of her evening looked and felt like this:
Oh, and by the way, I did make the bed today:
I bet you never thought it would happen! 😉
(to the more observant blog readers, please don’t judge us on the lack of curtains, bed skirt and decorating. and the doesn’t-remotely-match NY Yankees rug. we’ll get around to working on our room one of these days!)
We miss you, Daddy! Can’t wait to have you home again!!!
