We took Matthew for his 18mo photos on Christmas Eve. Much to my surprise, Olan Mills was insanely busy and we had to wait almost an hour for our photo session (despite having an appointment).

As I feared, Matthew was a handful during the photo session. He wasn’t bad but just running all over the place. It was exhausting trying to keep him in front of the camera long enough for the photographer to take anything . It was all worth it in the end, we got some cute shots!

This one was my favorite:

Matthew

Equal parts sugar and sass. 🙂

but his reaction when he opened it wasn’t quite what we were expecting.

“My very own personal video game!” LOL

Here’s the YouTube video for the iPhone users:

Please excuse the fact that I bashed Matthew’s head a bit with the gift. 🙂

Christmas

Journaling:
1. Lots of goodies under the tree.
2. Ian barely awake but ready to start.
3. Matthew needs some juice first.
4. Where should we start?
5. Chillin’ in his new bean bag chair.
6. A boy after my own heart! Santa brought Ian a camera and he took took over 400 pictures on Christmas!
7. The tent and tunnel were a big hit.
8. Ian taking a break from the toys to read a book.
