This is kind of what life feels like right now…chaos.

I’m trying to take advantage of my time off this week to get caught up on my Christmas pictures and blogging. I’m uploading picture and will have everything blogged by the end of the week. Promise! πŸ™‚

My next “biggish” goal is to get our Shutterfly site updated by the end of February…I’m giving myself some extra time on that as I have a lot of balls in the air right now (work and personal) and I’m roughly 7 or 8 months behind on uploading pictures. Whoops!!!!

The goal after THAT might to be catch up on album-ing pictures. I’m only about 2 years behind on THAT. Oy.

Ian, Andrew and Matthew looooooved running around and chasing each other.

Matthew gets a little pushy at the end but we finally realized that he wanted to follow someone else. So, every time he pushed Ian or Andrew, it was because he wanted to run behind them. Only fractionally better than knocking them down just for the heck of it. πŸ™‚

Because I’m an overachiever, don’t need to sleep and enjoy tormenting myself, I decided to take on a new blog-photo-scrap project for 2010. πŸ˜‰

In a nutshell, Project 365 is about taking a photo each day for a year. This project isn’t something new but this is the first time I’ve decided to take it on. The whole idea is that you’ll capture a bunch of small things that might be missed in the hustle and bustle of everyday life. Things I’ll forget about in a week, two weeks or a year. I’m also planning to use this project as a way to work on my photography skills. After taking a photo each day, I’ve gotta learn something, right? πŸ™‚

I plan to take a photo each day and then prepare a scrap page each week to document the year. Each page will have 7 photos and journaling to go along with each picture.

I promise to take pictures each day but I make no promises on keeping up with the scrapping side of the project as life may get in the way. I will eventually scrap 53 layouts (yes, there are 53 weeks this year). I plan to post the layouts as they are completed. Hopefully, they’ll be completed before mid-2011. πŸ˜‰

I don’t plan to post the individual pictures on the blog on a daily basis. I figure many of the pictures I’ll be using in the P365 project are going to be ones that I post and blog about anyway. No sense in having duplicate blog posts, right? Who has time for that?!?! πŸ™‚

I haven’t really decided what the future will be for my 52 weeks project. It’s starting to feel a little forced and stale to me at this point. Right now, I’m throwing around the idea of finishing out year 2 and just incorporating the “mommy and me” shots into the P365 project. I’m a little concerned that I’ll disappear from all of the family photos when I stop doing that project. But I’m already going to be taking tons of pictures, surely I’ll have some of me with the boys. I don’t know. I can’t decide…we shall see.

And since you’re probably wondering, I already took today’s picture, popped in my layout and journaled about it. πŸ˜‰
