Matthew was baptised today. He just looked around during the ceremony and was completely content.

Ian, on the other hand, was up, down, passed back and forth from person to person. We tried to get Grandma Samulski to take him out of the church (imagine a 2 yo running from the altar to his grandma) and when she did, he did a 180 and came running right back (imagine a 2 yo immediately turning around and running back to daddy).

Kind of embarrassing but we couldn’t get him to leave us (his separation anxiety still going strong) and we couldn’t get him to hold still (hi, he’s 2). The crowd and pastor seemed amused by his antics. Me and daddy? Not so much.

Matthew just chilled during the ceremony. Didn’t even bat an eye during the water portion of the ceremony. Just looked around. (Ian on the other hand wanted to “get in the bath”. )

Matthew fell asleep 1/2 way through church and then slept during all of the pictures.

Here are some pictures. Don’t let them fool you…it was darn near impossible to get a decent shot w/ Ian.

So, I went to pick the boys up from moms house on Tuesday and Rachel was watching Transformers (the movie) on her laptop in the family room.

Ian was interested in seeing what she was doing so when she got up to get something, he sat down to watch. I quickly sat Matthew down next to him to get some pictures. Moms of 2 know what I mean, when the toddler is still, you gotta act fast!

Lo and behold, Matthew is a Transformers fan too.
