On Sunday, we spent some time at Janice and Chris’s house for a big ol’ Jones family get together.

The children frolicked. The adults chatted. Ian ran around with his cousins. Matthew napped on Rachel. Fun was had by all. πŸ™‚

My 3 guys. Please enjoy this shot of Ian. It’s the last you’ll see of him as he spent the entire picnic playing elsewhere. πŸ™‚

Andrew liked it too.

As did Jackson…

(The little blond girl in pink is Ian’s obsession from the wedding reception. Apparently, Ian didn’t really want to play with Victoria much at the picnic and she was pretty sad about it. lol)

Speaking of Jackson…do you remember Jackson? πŸ™‚

Matthew, when not getting stuck in the Ladder Golf game, practiced walking and got lots of love from his cousin:

The handsome little devil in the blue pants and grey shirt is just 2 weeks younger than Matthew. He’s the son of one of MY cousins.

Milana and Micah spent a lot of time playing in the tree with Trinity. Trinity is the little girl in the blue jeans and brown t-shirt in the picture above (on the right, her back to the camera).

Huge shout out to my Aunt Marsha who dresses her girls alike. Nice to know I’m not the only one who forces their children to wear matching outfits. πŸ™‚

Speaking of outfits, Mr. Andrew was too sweet for words in his little orange polo shirt.

(If I counted correctly, there were 11 kids at this picnic. And please keep in mind that there were still some little ones in the family that couldn’t make it to the party! Now do you see why I pretty much never saw Ian? Too many new friends to play with!)

Matthew quickly reached the point of no return and promptly passed out on Aunt Rachel:

Isn’t he freakin’ adorable?!?!

Storm clouds rolled in and soon we had to move the party inside.
IMG_3354

Not a problem for us Joneses…we just partied in the house. πŸ™‚

(My aunt in the tank top to the right above shares the exact same wedding day as Mike and me: July 16th! I believe she and my uncle were married on a Friday too.)

Matthew didn’t seem to realize that the party had moved. I think this is what people are referring to when they say: “they slept like a baby”. πŸ™‚

And, even though I didn’t take many pictures of him, I have evidence that Mike was there!

And having a good time, too! πŸ™‚

Before we left, we got a big picture of my grandparents and all of their children:

I don’t think I hardly saw Ian for 10 minutes during our entire trip to Muncie. I think he spent the entire vacation off playing with kids in another area.

Here was a rare Ian sighting after the wedding while we waited for the newlyweds to leave the church.

I really appreciate Matthew busting out a goofy face just in time for me to snap this shot. Although, that might be a result of Ian standing on his toes. πŸ˜‰

Saturday, we attended Brooke and Kyle’s wedding. Kyle is my cousin and is the son of my dad’s sister Janice.

Brooke and Kyle’s wedding was beautiful. We particularly loved the slide show of pictures at the end of the ceremony.

The reception afterward was great. Dinner was delicious and the location was gorgeous.

I don’t have a ton of pictures because I was pretty busy keeping Matthew out of trouble. All of the kids at the reception were running up and down an open corridor at the back of the room and Matthew was having fun with them. He was desperately trying to keep up with them. He did a pretty good job keep up considering he was crawling around after a bunch of running kids. Unfortunately, we had to stay close to make sure he didn’t get trampled by the stampede of kids. That, and to make sure he didn’t eat garbage off the ground, play with electrical cords, escape from the room, etc, etc, etc. Needless to say, it was a workout keeping him out of trouble. πŸ™‚

Ian had a WONDERFUL time playing with all of the kids (and this is true of our whole trip, not just the reception). He latched onto one little girl and just followed her around like a puppy dog. It was adorable. He also spent a TON of time on the dance floor…as in, he LITERALLY danced to every single song. πŸ™‚ Needless to say, he enjoyed himself immensely.

Here is a picture of Ian and his girlfriend, Victoria, on the dance floor. Ian’s wearing a blue and green striped polo shirt. Victoria is standing beside him in blue dress and has blond hair.

The only reason I have any pictures from the reception…Matthew fell asleep on me and Mike took him back to the table:

Back at the hotel and in his travel bed, Matthew was tuckered out from all the racing around:

to Muncie in 10 words, I’d use pick the following words:

Laughing
Squealing boys
Chasing
Dancing
Loving Papaw
Overtired
Cousins
Busy

Every minute of the trip was filled with something to do but everyone had a great time. The 3 youngest travelers loved playing together and with their Muncie cousins. They spent a fair amount of the trip chasing around after each other and competing for Papaw’s attention. πŸ™‚
