Here’s an outtake from today’s “photo shoot”. I told him I had cookies on my head to get him to look in my direction. He looked at me with an excited smile on his face and the smile quickly faded to this:

What is it about these two sweet, innocent little boys that makes them think picture time is a good time to torment their parents?
We took the two little monsters out this morning to a local park in an attempt to get some pictures for our 2009 Christmas card. Within minutes of their feet hitting the ground, both were covered in mud and making me want to rip my hair out.
After an hour of chasing the mud-covered demons around, I got ONE (1!!!) picture of the two of them together. ONE!
They both needed to be stripped down before being put in their car seats and we ALL needed a change of clothes when we got home.
It’s a darn good thing they’re so cute! 🙂

I had to take off last Thursday to watch the boys. Since I rarely get one-on-one time with them during the work-week, I was intent on enjoying every last second of my day.
I think the highlight of the day was went I turned the dining room table into a tent and Ian spent nap time watching a movie from his “cave”.
