This was taken approximately a bajillion years ago. So long ago that I actually had to think long and hard to remember where we were and what we were doing.

(I was 20lbs lighter and could actually wear contacts. I didn’t know how good I had it! LOL)
I haven’t forgotten you, dear blog reader. We’ve just been busy.
We had 2 full days of “stuff” all weekend long. I have pictures to share but I haven’t spent more than 30 mins at the computer in the last 5 days and they haven’t even been pulled off the memory card. Soon. I promise. Soon.
We’ve had a couple full days at work this week and evenings filled with “stuff”. Monday, immediately after work we had an appointment with the owner of a babysitting service. Tuesday, I felt awful all day long. (I think that covers it. Translation: what day is it again?)
And, last but not least, 3 months of dorky-as-all-get-out baseball stats accumulating and analyzing is coming to a head this weekend when Mike heads into some life or death fantasy baseball drafts. ::: insert overly dramatic eye rolls here ::: LOL He has one draft Friday night and the other Sunday afternoon. Hopefully, once we get past those, life can continue on in the bizarre manner it usually continues on.

I participated in a game on the Two Peas website called a Digi Morph Challenge. Essentially, it’s the digi-scrapping version of “telephone”.
The first person in the line creates a layout and they send their layout to the next person in line. The second person designs a layout inspired by the first person’s work. (Are you confused yet?) By the time it gets to the end of the line, the layouts are drastically different and it’s fascinating watch the transformation.
This was my submission to the challenge:
I picked up her color scheme in my layout although I chose different shades of orange and teal. I used paper with graphic design to mimic the checked pattern in her layout. In addition, my background paper, with it’s floral pattern, echos the scalloped edge of her orange border. My LO also has 4 pictures although I chose to scatter them through out the layout. I really liked her use of orange paper running vertically behind her pictures and chose to repeat that on my layout with the brown and cream papers running horizontally across my layout.
Pretty neat, huh?

This was the last time we went to the zoo. It was mid-April, almost 90 degrees and I was approximately 600 months pregnant with Matthew, and Ian spent the hour long visit throwing one long continuous tantrum. It was such a fun trip, we haven’t been back since. 🙂
Ian suffering through a quick photo op.
